On 11 February, the Sejm’s Public Finances Committee passed an MP-originated amendment proposal according to which the due date for settlement and payment of annual corporate income tax would be moved from 31 March 2021 to 30 June 2021.
The Finance Ministry has tweeted that the change is intended to:
- improve the liquidity of businesses in the difficult pandemic times, and
- extend the time for annual tax preparation.
We will keep you up-to-date on the progress of the legislation designed to introduce that change.
The Finance Ministry remains silent on the possibility of any due date postponement (as in last year) for personal income tax or for the preparation and filing of financial statements.
